Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ PRIOR TO BOOKING YOUR DRUM LESSON

1: PAYMENT

1.1

All bookings for drum lessons are to be paid upfront. Bank details are supplied on the invoice which will be sent to you in advance of your booking. Please note that your booking will not be fully confirmed until payment has been made, and that lesson slot will still be available until payment has been made.

1.2

All bookings for drum lessons are non-refundable. Please ensure you can attend your lesson before booking. It may be possible to re-arrange your lesson to a different day/ time but this is subject to availability and at my discretion.

2: CANCELLATIONS

2.1

All lessons are subject to a 48 hour cancellation policy. Lessons that are cancelled up to 48 hours before the booking will not be penalised, and your booking will roll over to the next available slot. All lessons cancelled within the 48 hour period, for what ever reason, will be charged in full. If the lesson is part of a block booking, the session in question will be foreited from the block booking.

2.2

In the event that I need to cancel a lesson or close the studio on the day of your lesson, your booking will be rolled over to the next possible available slot. If this affects a block booking session, this will not count towards the 10 week period (see 3.2)

3: BLOCK BOOKINGS

3.1

Block bookings, whether weekly or fortnightly, must be taken on the same day/time each week. Please make sure when making a block booking that you can attend your regular slot, as I may not be able to move your slot to another day/ time once your block booking has begun.

3.2

Block bookings must be completed within 10 weeks, this applies to both weekly and fortnightly lessons. If you do need to cancel a lesson, it may be possible to re-arrange to another available slot (subject to availability), providing the lesson is cancelled outside of the 48 hour cancellation period.

Block bookings cannot be “paused” at any time. If a student requires an extended period of absence (longer than the 10 week period) during a block booking, any remaining lessons from the block will be lost and no refunds are available for any unused lessons.

3.3

Block bookings operate on a rolling basis. Once a block booking has been completed, you will automatically receive a new invoice to begin a new block booking on the samy day/time as the previous block. If you need to change or cancel your block booking, please do so before the end of your current block before your booking renews.

4: PRICING

4.1

Lesson prices may increase annually, in line with inflation and the cost of living. Any price increases will be announced in advance and will always fall in line with Musician’s Union suggested rates.
